Just gave that a listen purely because the name was ridiculous, that's actually really deadly.  Just found the album on Bandcamp, hopefully the rest of it is in that vein.

Yeah the music was decent in that, right up my street. I'll follow this up and also STCLVR which I really enjoyed. Got an unexpected reminder of Relax by Frankie Goes To Hollywood off it as well

If LDR and STRCLVR are doing it for you might be worth checking out Compactor, HIDE and Statiqbloom as well for some similar Skinny Puppy inspired vibes.

It came out last year but King Krule's album The Ooz is always on heavy rotation and is now a favourite of mine. I thought his older stuff was decent but this album is a sublime trip, veering moreso a down-tempo trip hop-ish kind of realm; his signature drawl dragging you through his depressive jazzed out smoke-filled odyssey. Defo better ingested as a whole. Album is quite long clocking in at about an hour, and my only criticism would be it's a tad long but you're well sucked into the album so it doesn't bother me too much.

Genre: Jazz/Classical
RIYL: Trio jazz arranged for classical embellishment? 

E.S.T. plied a trade in very accessible modern trio jazz, almost cinematic at times, utilising distortion and other effects to make something unique which I really loved. This is E.S.T. rearranged with orchestral accompaniment and it's staggeringly good. If you like jazz, soundtracks or classical, I think there'd be something in this you'd like.

Minutemen: Double Nickels On The Dime  (SST 1984)

Punk band on paper but they were elsewhere musically, mixing jazz, funk and soul rhythms into their music.

Their magnum opus in my opinion, a long album but it never gets boring. The track 'Corona' was famously used for the 'Jackass' show on MTV.

Don't know why I haven't listened to them that much in the past but I went on a Tera Melos binge while away this past weekend. Fuck me, what a band. I'd recommend "X'd Out" as the album to start with (the most recent one "Trash Generator" is unreal also)

Never heard of these guys , but seen this  "Scary" album cover floating about on line - so i decided to give it a listen, and ive no idea why i like it but i do, boring singing actually adds to it, gives it a kinda of 90s feel to it. 

Sounds like a mix of Post Rock, radiohead, stone roses , Pumpkins  and sonic youth. (IMO)

Always baffled how that band are so well know/respected, they sound like every second rate early 90s shoegaze/indie band the likes of NME used to rave about  (Chapterhouse, Slowdive,Catherine Wheel, etc) with a few loud bits thrown in and there are far better current bands doing that kind of thing. Im guessing its the simplicity  of the songs, still i like it, not into much of any of this type of music but every now and then its nice to wonder off headless to other genres. Cheers for that link sounds good for far!
