This is the main point for me, they can spin it as a positive promoting Irish bands but in reality they will pocket the wider profit because they know the Slane brand on it's own will sell tickets regardless. Their tunes are pure scour to my ears and every photo I've ever seen of em they look like the backstreet boys in their peak 90s era. Its not entirely devoid of musical talent, just offensive to my particular tastes and preferences. But sure look it, fair play I suppose, I doubt im the target demographic.

I'm going to lash on one of their albums now and see how I get on, but the singer really, really gets on my tits with his, as mentioned above, exaggerated accent, and his pretence of being a pained and tortured artist... who still lives with his oul one!
