Love him on the Osbornes. Hope they don't recast

The voice of a generation.

It is surreal. Whatever about what he became in later years he was a legend. I'll have to blast the debut later.

RIP.

His autobiography was a hilarious read. Very witty. I'd say he was mental craic to be around back in the day too

Shit buzz, for sure.

Have an original 1970 spinning now.
Had it for years but have never dated to play it till now.
Will most likely bust out a lash of Sabs and his solo gear for the next few days.

Got reminded by one of my older cousins when he was asking me about the Sabbath farewell about watching this  when they were babysitting me so it was probably the first time I saw Ozzy.

RIP ya legend!

RTE news just did a segment on him. Of course the fucking bat head had to be mentioned. I did spit my tea out when the reporter mentioned Sabbath guitarist Tony Immi....

I hate that bollox, sky news kept saying "no bats were harmed in that report" when they were covering the recent gig.
it's not funny lads.
Pretty Vacant

Hopefully No Rest For The Wicked gets a repress. Absolutely deadly album.

Had a feeling this was coming but its still sad. Rest in power.

I was wondering why Blabbermouth was down. Well that's shit news :'( My first Ozzy-related album was Bark at the Moon as a teen in the 90s, which took a while but grew to love, and still listen to regularly. Then a few years later I picked up the boxset 'Black Sabbath: The Ozzy Osbourne Years' and the rest is history. Still, my abiding memory of him was falling off a fucking chair!

I wonder if he died as a result of another neck surgery which I think he mentioned some months back. I thought he seemed relatively well at the gig, all things considered.

Fuck me, I won't lie I've shed a few tears this evening.

I downloaded the back to the beginning gig and it really feels like a proper funeral send off. He even sounded great at that last gig. rip

One of those days you never really think you'll see. The last of the real rockers, lived by his own rules, a maniac through and through.
