There's definitely something strange in Ireland where the bigger the event, the bigger the draw is. Slane was always a good example, I know loads that always went but wouldn't have bothered going to Foo Fighters or whoever if they were playing in the Olympia.

Noticed a lot of videos on Tiktok of young people panicing to get tickets and it made me realise there is a whole new generation who never got to see Metallica. My aul fella first seen them in the Top Hat, and I first seen them in the RDS in 2003 but he has 2 younger kids now of 11 & 16 who would chop their arms off to go. Pretty big deal for him to be able to bring them aswell.

Yes, they were €131 in the top tier with restricted view warning, was able to put them in the cart yesterday.

Must of been lucky I joined when it started at 9.45 got in around 10.20 and standing was all greyed out. Checked a few mins ago and it was showing them but same shite as the last day saying 'tickets not available' when you try to check out.

Just found out Ticketmaster have a 24hr cooling off period... relieved man!

I was told by a friend there is loads of standing left but when I try to purchase them I get that same message. I got a message earlier saying they don't accept visa when i tried to get seated tickets. Ah Well I did say I only wanted  a single day ticket

I got a good seated ticket on Wednesday but I really wanted a standing ticket,went on 15 mis ago kept hitting refresh and ended up getting a standing ticket,will I be able to sell the seated ticket back to ticketmaster?
