Was wondering that myself, looking at a few comments and posts about it it seems the selection (if any) would be pretty limited. Couldn't see anyone giving alternative options.

Came across this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/7String/comments/8lmqwu/i_swapped_the_pickups_in_my_harley_benton_fanfret/

Seems it was fine to replace them on the models prior to 2018 but less options with the current set up

Did have my eye on the seven string tele style fan fret, but went with this instead.

Not a bad price for them, keep us updated how it goes.  Interested in picking up a new spare guitar later in the year but likely won't have a huge budget and need a 7 string.

Meris Enzo arrived yesterday. Most of the board now wired, missing a few lengthy cables for one of the loops so had to order a new Evidence Audio kit.

And despite my better judgement, I've ordered a Mooer Preamp Live. Looks great, reviews sound great. I've revised my expectations regarding what it can do above and beyond the obvious so wouldn't be expecting a perfect MIDI implementation or anything like that. Worst case, I'll just move it on if it's a pile of balls.

Building pedals at the moment and slowly learning how they do what they do.  Going to breadboard another Brutalist Jr. and mod it before building properly.  Have some small fuzzes and boosts to try out basically practicing what can be altered on each circuit.  But the one I'm in the middle of now is a combination of two pedal kits - an A/B parallel loop blend with a pot for balancing each loop, but I'm adding a footswitch and wet/dry control to the front of it.  Should be more useful for heavy modulation than anything else, e.g. parallel infinite delays at different time breaks but with much more dry signal coming through, but am aiming to use it to mess about with my fuzz and octave pre-battlehammer/brutalist combo to fuck with my current tone.

Anyone else suffering delays of Klark Teknik stuff? I ordered their EQP and 76-KT units back in Nov from Music store who send me a monthlyi email now explaining that the manufacturer is late shipping them stock. Current ship date is late April now, (and its moved every month since Nov)... what a joke. My guess is they dropped the sale price, orders spiked and they couldnt ramp production but pretty terrible customer service...

Had the baritone for over a week now.  Love the balance and shape of it. Neck is a tad uncomfortable on the thumb, same as on my Ibanez 7string. Also the top of neck/frets is shade rough, but, kinda expect that. Tone is fine from pick ups, and it holds tuning perfectly.

PIcked up the Mooer Preamp Live during the week and so far really enjoying it. Slightly misleading reviews said that it gives access to ALL the Mooer Micro preamps as it's seemingly missing pedals 011 - 017 which includes the Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier preamp...the one I really wanted.  But other than that, it's pretty tasty. Sounds great through in-ear headphones as well as into a cab. Might try it with the Focusrite 2i2 tonight and see how that sounds but can't see any reason for why it would be different.

On that note, thinking of picking up a decent pair of over-ear headphones for use with it. Any recommendations that won't bankrupt a small country?

Picked up a zoom multistomp and a harley benton spaceship80 pedalboard. The joys of rebuilding the pedalboard again. Also picked up a bunch of wall mounts for my guitars since im taking the plunge and buying a gaff. Does a new house count as gear?

Realised last night that I could prob pay off my mortgage if I sold all my spare patch cables

Perhaps, but you'll catch cancer trying to deal with all the mongos on adverts offering you toasters and motorbike handlebars as trades so you might not live long enough to enjoy it. Buy gear and live longer.

Just sell them to people here and in that gear degenerates fb group, where nobody is scaldy

I bought a cheapy LTD 7 string a few months ago (LTD EC-257) which is actually really nice & my first 7 string, but the  stock pickups in it (esp the bridge)  leave a bit to be desired... so today i bought a set of Duncan black winter pickups for it. Interested to try something other than EMGs for the first time really. ...

I don't know if you've come across these.

I put them into my Epiphone V for a test as a friend recommended them when he heard I was going to buy the Black Winter set.  I have to say I'm very impressed with them for a fraction of the cost.  Maybe worth check out or maybe some of the more experienced musicians here would have a better idea with comparison.

Bought here too & the guy was super easy to deal with:

Interesting to see those Entwhistle pickups, never heard of them. Amazingly cheap... I wonder why?
