Anyone keeping up to date on NAMM? Not really in the market for anything myself but it's nice to look. Strymon have a new Tape echo yokey which seems to have a lot of people interested. Probably not my thing so much.

Curious to see what Schecter and LTD bring out. Not that I need a new guitar...

Gibson are at this one? I'm curious to see how they're going to repackage the same guitars they've been building for the last 60 years.

I'd imagine Gibson would have to be there alright. But ya, wouldn't be expecting much in the realm of innovation.

They skipped it last year, I thought? What I've seen from their post-bankruptcy output is, basically, doing away with the robot tuning but keeping the chambered bodies.

Those 2019 Schecter E-1 SLS Elites haunt me regularly

Pigtronix released a cool new one. The Resotron. A synthy /filter pedal in the same type of family as the Digitech synth wah/dirty robot with some cool other features. I'll be keeping an eye on this!

I've to buy a Behringer XR18 mixer this week. I need a new desk for my bands jam space and this doubles as an 18 input USB interface so I can multitrack record rehearsals straight into a laptop. I'll also get use of it in work and at some random gigs I'll play where I need a PA so should pay for itself in no time. They halved in price lately too, it's  whole lot of stuff for 390 euro!

Of course now that a thomann order is on the cards I've made a wishlist with all the other bits I've been telling myself I need.  Looking at the Arturia Keystep midi controller, an EHX silencer and a small basic lighting desk for the metal gigs we do in Dolans.

MusicStore clearly getting the shaft from Klark Teknik..
I ordered an EQP and 76KT there back in early Nov... being told they won't ship til March now at most recent guess. Dropping the price clearly drove huge demand...

Anyone know if there's any guitar shops around Dublin that sell ESP/LTD guitars?

Have me eye on getting an LTD EC1000 later in the year and would like to play one before I buy. Definitely a dream guitar right now, comes loaded with Seymour Duncan's too.

I reckon you'd be perfectly safe buying that without trying it. Those higher end LTDs are brilliant.

They're great guitars. You'll often see one on adverts, maybe keep an eye out there and you might save a bit of cash.

https://www.musicminds.ie  stock LTD. They don't have a lot in stock but I'm sure they could get one in for you.

@Emphyrio - any update on the EHX Mod Rex?

It's grand Spud. Lotsa fiddling around required, which isn't my bag at the best of times. If I was using it on guitar it'd either be a) I annoyed at the amount of tweaking or b) I'd have spent a lot more time trying to get the most out of it.

As it's gonna be for synths I'll get around to using it more once I start recording more stuff.

Well that's underwhelming  Was kinda hoping it had blown you away

The chorus/flanger sounds aren't as good as dedicated pedals and the pattern tremolo sounds aren't as easy to dial in as on the M5 so I couldn't recommend it for guitar if I was being honest.

Some of the presets are cool and they're all programmable for track's BPM which is handy but I'll keep it for synths.
