Be the longest queue for a piss if they dusted off Good Friends and a Bottle of Pills for a FBD tour

I don't think Phil nowadays would be able to do the GST title track live. I don't think he's ever been able to do it as it doesn't seem to have ever been played live.

I would say he would struggle with Primal Concrete Sledge too.

Speaking of Phil's range, any of you musos know what tuning(s) they're playing at these days? Tis a totally understandable thing to have to drop gears with age, but there were a couple of tracks it sounded particularly low.

He usually tunes to C#, pretty sure it was the same at the gig. Guitar sounded a bit low in the mix from where I was standing though so could be wrong, the feed of pints probably didn't help either

Sound seemed to vary a lot by where you were but I think the guitar was on the low side all over. Where I was the drums in particular were overpowering at the start, could hardly make out vocals for the first couple songs.

I see they've new US dates added with Amon Amarth.

Cool, cheers. A full step lower than Dime then I think.

Think they only played it a few times and he gave up as he said it's too difficult

"I fucked your girlfriend last night,
while you queued for two 8 euro pints of pissy Heineken only to have some cunt spill them all over you, I fucked your love"

Surely nobody was actually expecting Cemetary Gates at that gig? It must be 30 years since Anselmo was capable of hitting those high notes.

I'm suddenly reminded of that video from a few years back of Anselmo and two other lads strapped together onstage, rotating as each lad took his turn to sing. What was that all about again? Looked mad.
