Jail for these types needs to be a cold, spartan cell, 24/7. Life and no chance of release. You'd have the humanitarians out looking to make things easier for them of course. Playstations and bags of smuggled drugs etc.

I walked along the quays in Dublin yesterday. Cunts openly doing drugs on the street not far from Guinness brewery, one of our primary tourist attractions. Terrible look. I walked along it again this morning and the they were all out again in the same place getting free grub from some bullshit charity. Fill their bellies so they can they can make a show of the city centre again for the day. Fuck that enabling shit. It's crazy carry on.

The mitigating circumstances are a joke for not imposing the allowable sentences. What will they sctually serve of the reduced sentences? It won't really discourage someone preventing the course of justice again. I hope all these fuckers get a good hiding in prison.

Horrendous. A family that has contributed nothing to the state since their arrival.

I had forgotten about this. Utterly horrifying stuff.

Don't know their background but are they full Irish citizens? If not should they be also be fucked out of the country? How does the law work?

Yeah seem to remember reading

A They've all been here a very long time
B None of them have ever worked a day

And they've a billion kids. Magnificent.

Throw the book at them. But I wouldn't be rushing to either believe or spread B: a little too neat a fit for the "Get them out!" crowd, unless there's solid evidence.

There's times when it's justified and this is one of those cases- launch the book at them. There is zero evidence of them ever having come here with legitimate intentions.

QuoteMr  Murphy asked the Puska family what their legacy was.

Mr Murphy accused them of doing nothing for Ireland but damaging it beyond repair and he said they had come looking for a better life but had built it on a foundation of taking and never giving in return.

He said the family knew one of their own had murdered Ashling in the most horrific way imaginable.

Instead of coming forward, he said they had done everything possible to conceal what they knew and destroy vital evidence, in the hopes that the Murphy family would be left without justice or closure for the rest of their lives and Puska would be left free to roam the streets of Ireland, "possibly to do this all over again to another innocent family"
.

QuoteMs Murphy accused the defendants of showing little sense of accountability for their actions and said they did not demonstrate any responsibility in their own lives.

Jozef Puska was sentence to life in prison in 2023 for murdering Ashling Murphy
She referenced psychological reports stating there was an expectation on men to provide economically in Roma culture.

She turned to Marek and Lubomir Puska and asked why they had not worked since moving to Ireland.

She said the five had made deliberate choices to lie to gardaí, destroy evidence and withhold information and said they had each chosen silent complicity when truth and courage were most needed.

Those are victim statements from distraught family members. Seems the brother Marek was laid off during the pandemic. There's just a fine line between condemning despicable actions and falling into "They're all fuckin' scroungers: get them out!" A line I think it's worth staying on the accurate side of.

Anyway, speaking of murderers who never came with legitimate intentions:
https://www.rte.ie/news/ulster/2025/1023/1540095-soldier-f-trial/

Quote"They had totally lost all sense of military discipline. They were members of a regiment formed in 1942 at the behest of prime minister Churchill and had a proud record in World War II.

"Those who fought valiantly against SS Panzer divisions in 1944 have had their regiment sullied by some of their successors."

Stuffy old prick of a judge clearly letting some daft fucking notion he has of British military propriety cloud his condemnation of a murderer. The old painting with too broad a brush works both ways!

QuoteThose are victim statements from distraught family members.

That's a rather cold way to frame them. The essence of what they're saying is valid — it's not simply the output of emotion. The detail you provided doesn't really change the substance of their account. Generally speaking - they've contributed fuck all. The nugget of information you provided hardly paints a completely different picture.

QuoteA line I think it's worth staying on the accurate side of

If accuracy is our goal, let's dig into the specifics:

Jozef Puska arrived in Ireland in 2013 and initially worked on building sites. His employment appears to have ended between 2015 and 2017 when he claimed a slipped disc forced him onto disability. The records are vague — no official employment documentation was presented in court. It's possible his work was "cash-in-hand". He also claimed that the medication prescribed for his back injury impaired his memory.

Marek Puska arrived later, also worked on building sites and was not laid off during the pandemic. He too coincidently reported a back injury that enabled him to conveniently migrate to disability.

Lubomir never worked since arriving in Ireland.

Marek, Lubomir & Lucia were all sentenced for withholding information. Jozefina and Viera sentenced for destroying evidence, both burned clothes.

For me anyway I think a tidbit from the court documents just regarding the lads habits is also highly relevant "that they spent their days "sleeping, drinking coffee or beer and going into Tullamore by bike, car or taxi."

There's enough in all the above to tell me what kind of people they are, irrespective of nationality. They are established liars, malingerers and takers- all of them. With the lack of official records even the work aspect is highly debatable. So the fathers statement that they've done nothing but take is correct. And the sisters question regarding the men not working whilst ever so slightly off course is also completely valid.

They're literally direct quotes from victim statements given by individuals who, on a human and not at all cold level, are understandably distraught. Turning that into "I read that none of them have ever worked a day" is exaggerating the reality into a common "Get them out!" style slogan which just isn't needed in order to completely and utterly condemn the individuals involved or call for them to have the heaviest punishments available, up to and including deportation. Is it important to try to keep a lid on the "Get them out!" style rhetoric? I think so.

The government, justice minister and Gardai need to be very careful because they cannot play this game - they do not have the manpower as seen with that link above.
