'71. Jack O'Connell is a British soldier trapped behind enemy lines in the Falls in Belfast in the 70s. It was described to me as Assault on Precinct 13 set in Belfast, but it's nowhere near that good unfortunately. Still a decent watch though.

Dragged Across Concrete. Usually I can't stand Vince Vaughn, and this was no different. Damn poor movie, not a patch on Bone Tomahawk. Felt like Matt Walsh had written the script half the time.

Ye I was very disappointed with this one too. Brawl in cell block 99 wasn't too bad but this one stank. Not sure if Zahler made another flick after this one. Big death metal fan though, so I'll throw a few bonus points at him

Watched the Peaky Blinders film last night, having never watched an entire episode previously. Surprisingly dull stuff, and it def hasn't prompted me to check out the series as a result. Can't stand Barry Keoghan and his presence is enough to put me off watching something at the best of times.

Going to be watching the Back to The Future movies this weekend in honour of James Tolkan, RIP.

I didn't mind this too much, though I also can't stand Vince Vaughn, including in this. That scene of a full 2 or 3 minutes of watching him eat a sandwich was bizarre.

Can't stand him either. He just seems like a bad actor to me, yet he's highly regarded. Every accent he does just sounds fucking weird. Even Irish and NI accents. So gives off a slight impression of being an arrogant twat, based on nothing other than my assumption...

'Heathers' been a while, loving it!

Keoghan was terrible in Top Boy. He had a weird traveler accent, like John Conors after suffering a stroke.

The Long Good Friday. Never seen it before, fairly class. Its weird off-kilter vibe, swinging from gangster to horror to even Angst-like moments, is strangely moreish.

It's a classic. Best Brit crime movie ever. Hoskins should have got every feckin' award going for it.

One of my faves. It and Get Carter have to be the two most influential (British) gangster films ever. Oul Pierce in his early days in the IRA before he defected and became 007.

Keeps popping up lately and I've never seen it so will check that out.

Barbarian
Ridiculous shite altogether but grand.

Started The Ballad of Wallis Island last night but still 40 minutes to go. Hilarious so far. Tim Key is unreal.

Ballad of Wallis Island was a nice little yarn.

For more hilarious, good hearted viewing check out Brian and Charles. Could probably watch it with the gosser.
