Ah here, Body Count's first album is one of my favourites. Pure young teenage nostalgia listening to that with all my friends, and watching Friday, Boyz in tha Hood, Menace to Society etc. I think for about a year we spoke to each other exclusively in White Men Can't Jump quotes, thinking our Belfast suburb was the ghetto

As for Biohazard, saw them in a small club in Berlin with Suicidal Tendencies about a decade ago. Class show! Both of them slayed. ST in particular are a fantastic live show.

New Biohazrd song been out for about 2 or 3 weeks now I don't think it got a mention on here

When they said they were going to make a new album I was expecting a car crash.
This song is brilliantly Biohazard.
Hopefully the full length is a shirt sharp shock. Some of the albums are overly long.

On the first listen I thought this isn't good or bad just what you would expect but after multiple listens I am really starting to like it. Even the lyrics are decent in their own cheesy Biohazard kind of way. I love the dual vocals with Evan doing two lines then Billy doing the next two.

I will be seeing them again now in October with Onyx supporting this time which should be great so hopefully they play this at the show. They said in Belfast that they had finished recording album.

I lobe Bobby Hambel's playing, it's so sleazy.
Seeing them with Onyx should be fun.

I am actually more excited about seeing Onyx again than Biohazard. The venue I am seeing them in has a smaller capacity then the village which surprised me considering they sold out the Academy here. I would have assumed Biohazard were massive in North America and would be playing Olympia sized venues.

Biohazard were never really big in the States outside of NY, they'd good connections as they'd blagged a management with Russell Simmon's company and got loads of support gigs with major acts.

That said with the yank hardcore scene obsessed with the 90s at the moment, they'd probably do bigger venues.

New song is alright.

Enjoyed that tune there so I did. I have a soft spot for the few gang vocals.

Just coming over from the Paradise Lost thread there and thinking how much more energy is in this than in their latest thing, even though both bands have certainly settled into what one would call a signature sound.

Also I'm sure whenever Bobby Hambel kicks the bucket, he'll be spinning in his grave

Grand tune. Which I will likely never listen to again.

Is the Evan Seinfeld "Mantorship" system exempt from being fucked though?

I don't know how they get away with it but they just do.

Love a bit of the oul Hazard

It's another great song. Makes me feel like the album will be belter.

Decent and yeah, full of raw energy. But I wonder could they ever capture the scope of State of the World Address ever again. The production is huge, the songs are epic in many cases and the bro is so fucking beefed up it would give you BSE. The new stuff has the passion, catchy song writing and general Biohazard ridiculousness, but lacks that sense of the majestic that made SOTWA such a wonderful,  over the top experience. 30 years of aging will do that I suppose, and no disrespect to the bucks.
