Now now Bodycount are still great.
Danny from Biohazard was on Hoya Roc's podcast a few months ago, way before reunion rumours.
He said that Warner were so sure of a hit record they let them at it on the studio. No pressures other than make the record.
Once it was released they then put a saddle on the band and booked them tour wise in a similar vein to the Metallica black album tour.
That's what led to the downward spiral.
Also the fact the Evan Seinfeld became a rock star all pushed them over the edge.

As I stated already a club show would be bananas.
The line up for their 2 NYC shows is testosterone fueled madness.

Bodycount and Clawfinger are equally awful.

There was another one from around that time called Gurd (Drug backwards OMG radical! gnarly!), they weren't as bad if memory serves.

Yes I am partial to a little Clawfinger here and there. Well just Use Your Brain really.

And yeah as said up there, they have to be the original wokest of the woke

Well, they tried to be. Imagine if a band of white Swedish lads came out today with a song preaching to black people that even they shouldn't use the N-word. They wouldn't be getting called PC, I'll tell ya that

Anyway, yeah, shite band. Though objectively no worse than the likes of Bodycount.

Yeah but they were making a perfectly fair point though

There's a riff or two on use your brain that lads would be praising if it wasn't Clawfinger with the gammy rap

When I heard Clawfinger on the metal show I thought it was so heavy and out there.
I bought the first album on cassette from the sound cellar thinking I was the business as I visited the big city.

Biohazard are a completely different affair.
They have the riffs and grit that stand out.

Three pages into a thread on dodgy rap metal and not a mention of Stuck Mojo?!

I was always very dubious about Clawfinger (that fucking name... Jeasas!). Downset I thought were a more serious affair. I remember Do We Speak A Dead Language being good but it must be nearly 30 years since I've heard it so no idea how it holds up these days.

Downset cane across as serious no messing around type stuff.
I only had their first album.
Stuck Mojo had one moment of glory and that was joining Type O for Kill All The White People in the SFX.

I remember picking up Stuck Mojo's Pigwalk years ago just because it was produced by Devin Townsend. It was decent enough but I was pretty much done with that style by that point. If I'd got it a few years earlier I reckon I'd have absolutely loved it

Yes.

And, jaysus, don't remember ever hearing of Gurd, haha. Terrible band name if that's the reason!

Bought a signed copy of snapping necks for 3 euro a few years back. It's a bad album but I like it

Yes and no on that one. Sometimes the wank off the Argos catalogue is worth several blue movies depending on things
