Urban Discipline and State of the World Address are two absolute Metal classics.

Looking back on Biohazard now, it's all a bit parallel to a lot of the bands that we're very popular at the time - Fear Factory, Machine Head, Downset, Pro Pain etc. and maybe even Sepultura, Ministry and White Zombie - two, possibly three, absolute classic albums, and then they were never able to recapture the vibe or the quality after them.

For me, the Biohazard memories are a little tarnished by all the shite thats come out since the classics - it was let down after let down musically, and then bullshit drama, but i do still give both those albums a spin every few years.

State of the World Address is fascinating - such a mature, well written and "epic" album, an astounding jump from the brutality of Urban Discipline while the follow-up Mata Leao sounds like a pre-production demo, it almost seems out of place in their discography - it's hard to equate the guys in the band with the sheer quality of that individual album sometimes. Was it all down to Ed Stasium and a massive Warner Brothers budget?! ...or maybe just a snapshot of a moment in time never to be recaptured like "Burn My Eyes" or "Demanufacture".

State of the World Address, Burn My Eyes and Demanufacture really were exciting albums in their day. I went off on a much more underground journey after that but those albums almost epitomise being 12 or 13 for me.

Add in Slayer, Pantera and Sepultura as well. Good times.

Had UD and State on cassett, was in my mid teens so was hoovering up everything metal.Demaufacture a monster of an album at the time.

Quite fond of a bit of the old Hazard myself but then I do have somewhat of a penchant for gammy rap metal

Clawfinger the kings of 90s rap metal!

Clawfinger should all be in jail for what they did. Wasn't there some tossers from Kilkenny having a similar bash at ruining music?

Nope. Downset. are the kings of 90s rap metal.

Saw them with Biohazard in Dublin in '94, they were immense, were sound to talk to as well. Rage sound like choirboys compared to them. They have since been swept under the carpet of musical history.

Well, they tried to be. Imagine if a band of white Swedish lads came out today with a song preaching to black people that even they shouldn't use the N-word. They wouldn't be getting called PC, I'll tell ya that

Anyway, yeah, shite band. Though objectively no worse than the likes of Bodycount.
