Speaking of industrial, I picked up the reissue of Nitzer Ebb's Ebbhead recently. Brilliant stuff, this version includes the As Is EP and the remixes from across the various B-sides. All mighty.

I can't decide if Nitzer Ebb are bad or good. Have listened to all of their stuff and still I dunno

Hit and miss for me. Ebbhead is essential, and Belief is another great album. Wouldn't be gone on any of their other stuff TBH.

In the meantime, though we all likely know it - and if you're in this thread and you don't know it, now's the time to remedy that - this is arguably Ministry's best album and very ideal industrial for me: The Land of Rape and Honey.

Actually wanted to mention a very old album as one for people to check out if you've never heard it. Probably my favourite industrial record ever, possibly the first real industrial album I ever owned, too. SPK's "Leichenschrei"

Not as crazy about the stuff they did before this musically (though It's hugely important), certainly not anything after either ("Machine Age Voodoo" is arguably the "Cold Lake" of industrial music)

Dreary, creepy, odd, genuinely unnerving record. Essential listening.

I've set out my stall in terms of what I like earlier in the thread, so NIN and Nitzer Ebb fans can stop reading here, as these are largely the more noise/dark ambient side of industrial rather than anything melodic or rythmic for the most part.

Some of these are more MW friendly as there are ties to metal and hardcore bands

I see there's a Bastard Noise/Merzbow split out on Relapse which is as good a reason as any to mention Bastard Noise's "Rogue Astronaut". Again, this is more of a noise thing, but possible slightly more palatable than straight up harsh noise might be to many of you.

Sore Dream is one of the spin off projects of Full of Hell, and probably my favourite. Abstract, Wolf Eyes inspired stuff that goes from floaty to pounding, has a more psychedelic bent to a lot of it. "Phosphorescene" is my favourite release

Same label also put out something this year by Corroded Spiral which is Igor Cavalera and Dwid from Integrity's indutrial project

I suppose some of ye might know about Hospital Productions as it's the guy from Prurient and his missus, and they've put out a bit of black metal. The Geography of Hell stuff they've released is great

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4aYKwrsX44&t=834s

They've also released stuff by Linekraft from Japan which is quite close to early industrial, a lot more rythmic and trancelike, lots of releases out there

Rounding off with something more musical. I guess some of ye might know of Lamia Vox already, definitely more ambient/Dead Can Dancy than the rest of thes stuff I've posted.

Ah sure fuck it, if you're after industrial dancefloor bangers..Phase Fatale

And Chris Connelly's post REvCo industrial thing Cocksure, classic Wax Trax vibes

Ugh, double post

Love Phase Fatale but I wouldn't have put it here.

Been on a Skinny Puppy and FLA binge today, which then led me to Noise Unit and Klinik. Worth a listen.

Can't beat FLA at their best, I was blasting Caustic Grip earlier myself. Provision is such a belter.

There's some Laibach. A unique proposition that I usually only draw out in the off topic.

As for FLA I've had rather a soft spot for them over the years but they've been bad for a long time bar a track or two. I do like most of it up to Epitaph though.

I kinda jump off the FLA train around Millennium which I still have a soft spot for. I've been giving Severed Heads a go lately and enjoying what I've heard so far. Another band notorious for their use of loops and samples was Pain Teens worth checking out highly recommended.

Someone mentioned this in a Facebook group yesterday, it's pretty good. Brought to mind Ministry, Pigface, etc., without particularly sounding like them. More that early '90s scene really, if I'd heard it 30 years ago I'd have lapped it up. Lament Cityscape:
