Ants.  I'm off work this week and catching up with some gardening and a few repairs about the place... I've been bitten loads of times already, and the urge to scratch the legs of myself is nearly overbearing.   Literally had one wee fucker in my boxers yesterday evening but thankfully it only bit the back of my leg and not anything important!

Can envision in a month I will be complaining about wasps.  So many about but don't see a nest in my garden anywhere.

We have bull ants in the garden here and those fuckers give a bad oul bite, much like a Wasp sting. I was painting under our steps last summer and had one fall onto me and bite my neck. I fuckin lept!

There's a lot to be said for a bit of strong condemnation. I'm sure everyone will consider it going forward before they do anything.

The mother is over visiting. 3 days into a week-long trip into the Rockies and I get sick as a dog and we have to come back to Edmonton. The triple whammy of being sick, being disappointed at missing the trip, and feeling guilty that the mum has to miss it too because of me. Bullshit.

The people at the deli counter not slicing the wrap all the way through when cutting in half. Fucking thing goes to shite when I have to pull apart  :(

We were at the shopping centre earlier today and when we were leaving, there were cops and fire brigade everywhere, and we were diverted around the incident. Turns out a car hit a person and killed them. Tragic stuff.

The weird bit was just now, on the telly, the news headline was, "Woman, 27, dies after being hit by a Tesla".

Hit... by a Tesla! The car hit her. The Tesla! It wasn't the driver. And it wasn't a Nissan or a Toyota or... or... it was A TESLA!

No mention of the driver who was behind the wheel.  Maybe the inanimate object came to life and went on a killing spree. Death by Tesla.

Elon Muck up to no good again... Grrrrr

Leaves starting to fall from the trees, always a downer for me. Summer's over lads.

Favourite time of year for me, the crispness in the air, leaves on the ground, mild, palatable weather , darkness falling at a decent hour when all godfearing Christians should be tucked up indoors...the anticipation of Santy..
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Once it doesn't just piss rain for the next six months I'll be happy, still a few weeks to go until breaking out the yearly Type O discography run though

I don't mind winter once it arrives, it's mostly the darkness setting in that bit earlier, the transitional phase I suppose that I don't like.

Sure it's still grand, I might get the odd day out of the shorts yet.

I find the transition to dark nights fairly miserable as well. November December and January are definitely the bleakest months of the year.

She's turning the other way down here   8)
