I find the general begrudgery in the discourse surrounding them tedious as fuck. The amount of comments ive seen like "clearly your taste is inferior, I have heard king gizzard and the locust before, therefore this is shit", as if more than one band cant exist simultaneously (not that either of those acts sound anything like them beyond being in adjacent genres or using microtonal melodies).

For what its worth, I like em but ya, youtube flooded with shitty covers and analysis is annoying af too...

I'm blissfully unaware of the discourse around them but I find their music fun. Not something I'd ever buy because fucked if it's something I'd be inclined to listen to much, but I would like to see them live. That said, I can guarantee that if and when they make it to Aus I will absolutely not get off my hole

Just noticed in in comment sections of their uploads and a couple of times on various sub reddits. I have reached the conclusion that fart sniffing vinyl dads are the same as kvlt black metallers and get inexplicably threatened and angsty when something similar to what they like is popular. Always room in the world for more music, even if it is an adulterated version of some cult act!

Yeah, I also thought they were good fun, and would enjoy it alot in a live setting im sure. Wanted to get tickets for the upcoming dublin show but they were sold out at 10am on the fuckin' dot.
