Once I saw the carry on of the news channels during covid there really was no coming back from seeing them as anything other than propaganda outlets, and that even goes for the stuff I read and agreed with.

But if the MoD decides to communicate it, that makes it news, even if it's just a new twist on the now year long narrative of 'Russia are fighting this war with Ladas and wooden spoons'! Trump may want to lie down too, claiming yesterday he can end the war in less than a day. I'd say Fox will have a hard time independently verifying that claim too. Don't get too worked up over any propaganda is the best advice (which I typically ignore).
