RIP LG, great frontman and vocalist, saw them a good few times over the years and they were always savage live, always wondered why he didn't sing on Clandestine but now I know.

Sad alright - a super distinctive voice gone.

One of the first more extreme bands I got into. I picked up Wolverine Blues as it was one of the only heavy CDs beyond Metallica and Anthrax carried in my shitty local HMV in Swords.

I remember being sorely disappointed it wasn't more extreme, but listened to it a fuckload anyway. Ended up loving it. Always weird to hear the other versions of it with all the movie samples.

Also remember getting Morning Star in Ennis while on holidays and thinking it was unreal. Went back to it this week and yeeeeah, it's really not great! ;D Couple of cool songs and that's it. Obviously LHP and Clandestine total classics.

Definition not a band that really had a high level of quality, but when they're good, they're fucking great.

Five years today, that time flew. I'll have to belt on Left Hand Path next.

Entombed are my favourite metal band. Was devastated to hear he got sick and eventually died. I'll have to slap on a few of their albums today so. Any excuse really

Rest In Peace Lars-Göran

Those first 4 Entombed albums get regular spins in this house, and always will.
