I have the vinyl editions of Infidel Art and Ghastly Funeral Theatre that The Crypt released some years back. They are stunning.

I have the Infidel Art and Scorn Defeat Crypt reissues they are beautiful packages. Was always sorry I didn't shell out for Ghastly Funeral Theatre.

95 ,there was a guy with a angle grinder and a steel plate doing a bit of a spark exhibition during the set.

Someone mentioned it already, but check out Alan Averil's  podcast for the story of that Primordial/Sigh gig. Very amusing, think it's the first episode.

95 for me was Machine Head/ Meshuggah/ Mary Beats Jane, Sunstroke 95 and maybe a few more I can't think of. Nothing as heavy a that

Fear Factory and Paradiee Lost (separate gigs) in the SFX were both '95, I think? They're the only major gigs I can remember from that year. I think that Desecration gig in Cork was that year too, if memory serves?

Where was that Sigh gig on? I'm trying to place the background.

I was at Fear Factory. I don't think it was the same year as Machine Head, though.

Didnt he have a human skull on stage also?

Machine Head was May '95, it seems (missed that one myself), Fear Factory was November '95 (according to Setlist.fm).

Paradise Lost was March '96, so scratch that.

I saw PL in The Music Centre whenever that was. Their goth phase. Quite a dull gig for me at the time but if I remember correctly they finished with As I Die which sent me home smiling.

My least favourite of theirs is Imaginary Soniscape. It's not a bad album, just not up to their impossibly high standards.
The only Sigh album I know.  I quite like it too, going from this thread it might be time to check out the rest.

McGonagle's in '92 and that Draconian Times show. There might have been more people at the McGonagle's gig, but they were great both times.
