Can confirm that they are well tasty. Will definitely go back again 👌

A totally childish one but using a bic biro until it is completely empty. Only achievable since work from home where there are no cunts robbing pens off your desk...

That is actually an amazing achievement.

Tangentially related but I found when I'm doing a round of interviews and we have 3 or 4 in a row, I've found i can't keep up with what the interviewee is saying anymore when trying to write it down. It's like those hand and wrist muscles for writing have atrophied so much I can barely do it anymore  I had to switch to typing and I was ok. So yeah, would be a good 10yrs before I'd be likely to get a biro right down.

I've started a new job and I'm going through the induction/ training process at the minute. Writing is painful; the arm goes to jelly after ten minutes

I've done it a couple of times at work with work biros. Currently got hold of one of the boss's four colour pens, and have the colours all down to about a quarter. So determined to finish the thing, the rim of the blue part of the pen has now been superglued multiple times where it cracked, and then broke, and currently taped together.

Free wifi on transatlantic flights.

I started an Irish language class at the local GAA club tonight. I haven't used Irish in any capacity in nearly 30 years. It felt deadly to be able to have a few basic conversations with people as Gaeilge.

Pissing rain here in wicklow, that'll stop the constant ringing of my door bell. :)

You were already fairly good at it when you were younger I'd say.
I'm over 900 days on Duolingo and I'm still struggling.  I can read and get the jist but no good beyond that.

I tried Duolingo a couple of years ago but I struggled with it. RnaG in the car has sharpened my ear a bit. I buy a weekly Irish newspaper too. Both have helped in a big way.

I've been using duolingo for the last 6 months but find it more like a little game than actually learning anything beyond a bit of vocab. Will keep at it anyway.

I finished the Irish course on it and it was grand for jogging a bit of memory from what I did in school but found it tough to actually learn from it

I've been trying to drop in whatever I know with my kids and finding that helps since I'm using it every day, and they're finding it really good for their schoolwork

My daughter's in 3rd class and she's starting to get Irish homework that involves reading exercises and answering questions afterwards. I figure that if I can make it as conversational as possible for her she'll be able to get a grip on it naturally.
