My lad is having his nap so me and the missus just had a sneaky smoke and then what often follows  Last night I watched The Empire Strikes Back with him and this evening we'll carry on reading The Hobbit together. Once you get into a flow that suits you, life with kids can also be a series of simple pleasures.

But if you'd got me on certain other days, I'd have wholeheartedly agreed with you
