When the joint is in, headphones on, comfortably horizontal and listening to Sleep's Dopesmoker with zero distractions for an hour.

Away for a coupla days in Cork, having pints of Murphy's. Jubbly.

AC?DC in the local park yesterday,  first live music since last March.  Was very enjoyable with a few cans, and plenty of nutters around too. Great fun afternoon out.

Are you staying in the city or county? Try Mok's and The Sportsman's on Barrack St./Bandon Rd. for truly glorious pints of stout and craic, if you don't mind a quick stroll out of the city centre*.

Beamish and Guinness anyway. I haven't had a Murph's in about 20 years.

*I have not been in a pub since March 2020. I am presuming that both of these are still open for business.

Staying in Ballincollig but spent the day in Kinsale today. Lovely spot. Few more Murphy's in the hotel this eve.

The Blade Runner score event is back on for September, a friend informed me the other night. Hotel booked (€83 for the Gibson, great to have a sister working for Dalata), looking forward to actually going to something.

Had my first feed of the year of field mushrooms yesterday, came on a lovely patch of them when I was moving sheep.
There's nothing on planet earth that tastes as nice as them with a pincheen of salt, fucking yummy.

Sitting in the stand at Gortakeegan, watching the Mons.

And it wouldn't be a proper game at Gortakeegan without the cows in attendance too.

Had it in the radio. Mighty, mighty stuff.

Depending on your outlook it'll be gas/lousy when they invariably lose to Kerry.

Happy enough after that match either way. Glad to have been the ones that slowed Dublin's roll.

I think most of the country will be behind Mayo at this stage, you'd be hoping the perennial bridesmaids finally get the ride.
