Just throwing on Left Hand Path on YouTube and I see in the comments that LG Petrov is dead. That had passed me by completely.

Aye, cancer last year. A shame they never patched things up beforehand.

Id actually love to see that Clandestine set the other members were doing!

Suicidal Tendencies at Hellfest. Lads go to about 30 minutes in and watch it from there... Fantastic scenes!

Fuckin loved seeing that. Went to see ST when they played Dublin a few years back and if was class craic, good lot of stage diving later in the set. They're a band that peaked early but by God the good stuff is very fuckin good indeed.

I watched the first ten mins or so the night it was on so will have to go back to it.
That's Rob Trujillo son on the bass. He has more swagger than people double his age.
The GBH stream from last night was great.
Highlight so far was the Down set and the Life Of Agony set.
The lowest point was the Agnostic Front set. The guitars were so out of tune it was painful.

Not the biggest Judas Priest fan in the world but every now and then I get an itch nothing else will scratch. Listening to Sin After Sin, Screaming For Vengeance and British Steel.

I've never listened to Suicidal Tendencies. Gimme the best album to try it out

This one, Join the Army, and Lights... Camera...Revolution would probably be the best

Everything else in the last 30 years ranges from patchy to shit

Join The Army or Lights Camera Revolution.

Grand I'll see what those are about cheers

Immolation - Act of God
Accept - Breaker ; never again, only Midnight Highway stands out.
Enya - S/T
Clannad - Banba , elevator music for a posh Dublin hotel ruined by saxophone and bongo drums

I can't put my finger on when Clannad went gay, but for a band who were producing such beautiful music from the mid-70's to turn into that pile of shite, awful pity.

Earliest one I have is 'Fuaim' from 1982, I'll have to track down their first few releases.

First two are my personal favourites. I've a live album from Switzerland from the mid 70s on vinyl that's just class.

Cirith Ungol - Half Past Human 7/10
Vomitor - Pestilent Death 8/10
Esoteric - The Maniacal Veil 9/10
Cancer - To The Gory End 6/10
Cancer - Death Shall Rise 6.5/10
Hallow's Eve - Monument 7/10
Satan - Earth Infernal 6/10
Hallow's Eve - Death and Insanity 7.5/10
Entrails - An Eternal Time Of Decay 5/10
Lynx - Watcher of Skies 6.5/10
