Primal Fear - Jaws Of Death CD
Mors Principium Est - Seven CD
Civil War - Invaders CD
Watain - Agony & Ecstasy CD
Sodom - Better Off Dead CD
Gamma Ray - Heading For Tomorrow (Original Vinyl) finally bought it after all these years . Greatest power metal album of all time
Unleash The Archers - Abyss Vinyl

The Chieftans - Live in Toronto '76.

Savage live album, with the best version of 'the morning dew' I've ever heard. Even the imperfections are perfect.

Matt, you'd love this I'd say.

Must be geolocked, coming up as 'not available' here.

I haven't heard that version before, faster than usual?
I picked up a rake of their LPs when HMV Dublin (Aston Quay?) was getting rid of them for next to nothing in the early 90's but that LP wasn't one of them .
Over the years I've picked up most of the later collaborations on CD second hand but they're a band I rarely listen to.  Collectively there is a bit of Bunratty Castle fakeness from Paddy Moloneys influence.
The solo albums by Seán Keane, Matt Molloy (and their own collaborations) and even Derek Bell are much better.

It's faster yeah, but it's just wild, more like a proper pub session, the musicians coming in one by one. Class version.

Spotify version here. Might work. https://open.spotify.com/track/7hZrjZ9bZtG22neuEOjnSB?si=x9z7NhxRS3SLxu5Y0mjq5Q

Thanks, that works. Added to the play list.

Biohazard- State of the World Address. As far as the mainstream 90s metal stuff goes I think this album really holds up well. It's super dooper BRO, full of attitude and incredible song writing. Unstoppable riffs throughout, epic solos, pounding drums, OTT testosterone gang chants. It's so fucking catchy  8)

Must be 15 years since I listened to that. If you're in the mood, it's mighty.

It's the business.

Never really got stuck into The Chieftains beyond The Long Black Veil which was played a lot in the house growing up. Will give that a lash.

Usually throw that on once in the year and always enjoy it. Put on a YouTube remaster of La Sexorcisto lately and enjoyed it a lot despite never liking it before. The guitar was a good bit louder, that helped.

Mate of mine who doesn't listen to metal at all said to me lately he's after discovering Biohazard so we listened to that and it's still good. Uncivilisation is decent too, I throw that on every now and again and there's a nice bonus bit of Peter Steele on there too.

Wouldn't bother with Mata Leao though, it's pretty awful bar a couple of tunes
