Different kettle of fish once again and they have certainly strayed further from the ballistic style. Last track could be nearly a Virus song. Started it again as it was the latter 3 tracks that grabbed me the most on first listen and that's probably due to settling into it. Fairly sure it's Mortuus doing vocals on the first track which, to be honest, I could do without. I'm into it anyway.

Call of the Mastodon, seems to get overlooked but I don't think there's really too much difference between this and Remission

New Deathspell Omega is out today, haven't listened to it yet. Anyone spin it yet?

Enjoying it a good bit.

Chainsword: Blightmarch

FFO Bolt Thrower, good stuff.

Gatecreeper Deserted and An Unexpected Reality, I had never listened to them until I saw the gigs advertised on here, excellent stuff.

Burzum - Belus. Hadn't heard it in ages and it's still great. It has aged very well to my ears.

Amorphis - Halo
Drudkh - Blood In Our Wells ( What a poignancy this has taken on)
Decapitated - Live in Nottingham 2004
Abbath - Dreadweaver
Saxon - Crusader
Tribulation - The Formulas of Death
Lynx - Watcher of Skies
Deathspell Omega -  The Long Defeat
Unleashed - No Sign Of Life
Immolation - Acts of God
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Listened to Kerbdog's entire b-sides collection last night. Some great stuff in there I'd forgotten about.

Mare - Ebony Tower

Class album

Neptrecus - Ars Gallica
Naxen   - Towards the Tomb of Times

New Decapitated. Not mad about the vocals but it's promising enough. They are the epitome of surgically precise death metal if nothing else.

Loop - Sonacy
Forhist - s/t
Deathspell Omega - The Long Defeat

Penance- Parallel Corners. Enjoying this one quite a bit. I've checked out bits and pieces by them over the years but never picked anything up until now. Are the other albums worth checking out?
