Nothing guilty about Kate Bush, that's a proper good album.

Seconded. Great stuff.

Borknagar - True North

Cool album.  The song Up North is a winner.

I rate it as one of their best ever. Up North is a class song alright.

Rudimentary Peni - "Death Church"

Absolute misery, I love it.  Looking forward to the album.
I have listened to this about ten times and had to stop myself so it isn't ruined in album context.  Other than that:

Neon Genesis Evangelion Soundtrack
NIN - "The Downward Spiral" + Bonus Disc
NIN - "Broken"
Black Midi - "Cavalcade"
Enslaved - "Mardraum (Beyond the Within)"
Kayo Dot - "Choirs of the Eye"

A good weekend for tunes.  That Black Midi album is intense and excellent, don't quite know what it's like, but it's very very proggy compared to their last album.

NIN i know like the back of my hand but went through all three in the car going for a spin yesterday.

The NGE soundtrack has some absolutely class tunes on it, orchestrated stuff, the best songs are spread out across about three releases but they're all on youtube anyway so you can cobble up a playlist handy.

Kayo Dot are always class but something lately has been making me go for CotE repeatedly over the rest.  Good album for outdoor drinking maybe.

Had that Enslaved album on last night, it's not one I normally reach for but on a revisit I have no idea why.  It is class start to finish.  Putting it on again now.

Grand Magus- Wolf God
Unearth- The Oncoming Storm
Burning Skies- Desolation. This is ferocious. There is something about this style that always seems to hit much harder when it's an English band over the Americans playing the same type of thing.

What do you think of that album? I have the LP but just can't get into it at all.
