Thunderbolt - Apocalyptic Doom.

An underrated band.

I just cannot get enough of this. An absolute wall of sound.....

Akhlys - Pnigalion

Slayer - Reign In Blood

Omegavortex - Black Abomination Spawn
Only listened to the stream once, getting the lp tomorrow but this is a wild bastard of a record.

Warning- The Strength to Dream. Perfect for a clear winter's morning drive.

Candlemass - Nightfall

Godflesh - "Streetcleaner"
It's 31 years old today so it would be a shame not to.

MBV - "Loveless"
An album that sort of strikes better in the cold weather.

Never listened to that album but love WFAD, might fire that on next here.

Such an uncopyable guitar tone.

Strength is a different album to Watching,  at least in initial contact. The similarities become more clear with repeated listens. I have grown to reality love it over the years. I worked backwards from Watching and it sounds in many ways quite rough and undeveloped, but only by initial comparison. I found that the more I got used to,  and grew to love the quirky limitations of Strength,  the more it started to really open up. It's a really interesting,  gloomy album. The song The Strength to Dream itself is just monumental.

The new Beherit.
Absolute lolz.

I managed ten minutes or so of it last night. Boring shit. But I'm not into that sort of ambient stuff so what do I know.

I remember when electronic Beherit was justifiably mocked and now with time it's considered cool, weird. Would have much preferred something more like Engram.

Time Lurker - Time Lurker

Napalm Death-Utopia Banished, the perfect ND album for me.

Gave the Venus Star and Stormkeep lps a quick listen last night and was pleasantly surprised with both. Listening to the Omegavortex lp now, I can see why it's on Invictus. Reeks of MA/Necrovore. Enjoyed the demo, not sure its interesting enough to sustain a whole album.
