Terrible in a terrible sense or terrible in a broadly good in an otherwise terrible world sense?

the former, in this case.

When I was a teen I absolutely loved DIM but as I got older it really has gotten unlistenable. I find all of Slayers albums post seasons fairly boring and sounding like they are going through the motions.

'You gotta let the taste buds blossom'

Ihsahn - Arktis, think he really hit his stride on this. I've generally liked all his solo stuff beforehand, but this is the first that I think is great from start to finish. Probably helps that he cut the sax down to a minimum

Strid/ Malfeitor comp.

Monarque - Ad Nauseam

Rewatched the Zealot Cult live on Facebook thing. Was never a huge fan of theirs, but will be exploring them more thoroughly.
