The Angel and the Dark River came in the post this morning. Of course I know it like the back of my hand, but I haven't had a CD of it for a long time, so happy days

I'm getting rid of my music collection- if you want it. Something like 50c a cd if you wanna help me out, or free if you're not arsed.

I'm sorry I lost so many of mine over the years. Sure there was a lot of shite, but I lost a lot of decent stuff too. But if you are determined, throw up a list.

I have 300 ready to go from indie rock to electronica to metal, sad to see them go but sometimes you have to minimise to maximise.

pm me babes xx

theres another 900 to be organised next week

Any technical Death Metal? Cynic, Death, Atheist and the likes? Also looking for power metal: Running Wild, Blind Guardian, stuff like that

The Vultures Are Circling

(and no, that's not an album I'm looking for, lolz...)

yar, that's why one - reliable- person to take the lot would suit, otherwise it'll have to be the local svp

Cryptic Shift - Visitations from Enceladus
Funereal Presence - Achatius
Artificial Brain - Infrared Horizons

Three that arrived in the post today, and I'm predicting I'll put on The Archer Takes Aim and Labyrinth Constellation later too.

Meshuggah's Catch 33. Brutal album and probably my favourite of theirs. I was disappointed they didn't play In Death is life in death is death the last time they were here.

Lord Belial - Kiss The Goat

Anyone catch Metallica's 2013 gig in Melbourne now on YouTube? What a setlist!

Perverted Ceremony - Sabbath of Behezael
Moenen of Xezbeth - Ancient Spells of Darkness
Two deadly dank albums. I'm on a bit of a witchy and weird BM buzz at the moment. Currently spinning Strigoii (Aus) - The Oldest of Blood. Also weird and dank. Azgorh has been releasing some quality stuff the last 10 years.

a few years ago this would've grabbed me but the whole esoteric black metal stuff comes across very 2013 now. If it was a competition for coolest band/album name though, fuck that stuff is good

Deep Purple - Purpendicular

There are some very decent Morse-era albums out there and this one of them. Deadly.

Apart from a track here and there, never listened to anything later than this album, but for a fix of Morse absolutely agree with you that this one is class.

Was practicing to a couple of his old guitar videos there a few months ago which was also highly enjoyable. They really did land on their feet by getting him in the band, even if at that stage it was a certainty they would never again reach the kind of audience they could with Blackmore.

Gherzen - 1917

Haven't listened to this in a couple of years but was in the mood for just that kind of BM at work this morning. Was just checking there to see if they were still active and I see they had a release last year, so I'm now listening to:

Gherzen - 1881

Bit of an unexpected massive whack of mid-to-late period Rotting Christ off the opening track, will see where it goes. Anyone into them?

I'm not sure if people realise that deep purple never stopped really. I don't mean you, but like there'd be a lot of music fans from various decades who might have dropped out of things and not realised that there is a handful of bands that actually got better over time.

I was kind of shocked at the most recent 3 dp albums, how fresh they sounded; quite remarkable to be in your 70s and still being true to your sound  as well as modern and relevant.

Sepultura - Under Siege.

Brilliant.
