Metallica - Ride the Lightning

I played this album to death as a teen, so I only dig it out the odd time. It's a flawless album*, they really were a stunning band.

*Escape is a banger too. Never understood why that tune is considered weak.

Was only thinking about this the other day when it popped into my head that Trapped Under Ice never gets talked about and is never anyone's favourite tune off it.

Trapped Under Ice is savage, but tunes like Creeping Death and For Whom the Bell Tolls are slightly better, so it gets overlooked.

Ride the Lightning, Fade to Black, Creeping Death, and Call of Ktulu are standout tracks. All the other songs are pretty much on a par of slightly lower deadliness.
