Hauled out after Pentagrime's midnight moving issues the other week. Strange band name Accept.
Right so what do we call ourselves?
I was thinking maybe...Angel Witch?

Deathstorm - Cascophonies 8.5/10
It seems we're awash with bands playing this style of uber aggressive thrash with gruff/growled vocals of late but I for one am feasting on 'em. These Austrians waste no time flaying flesh from bone (much like early Sadus) on this, their fifth one out on Dying Victims this year.

Atomic Aggressor - The Occult Forces 8/10
New one from the resurrected Chilean gods of deth and it's a ripper, honed to precision and tight as a gnat's chuff. If Altars of Madness is your poison ,check this out.

Vader Necropolis 8/10
Album number nine from 2009 incorporating more straight up HM influences into their meat and mash Death Metal, a lot of this is surprisingly mid tempo but they know how to write a hook and many of these tracks remain barbed in the brain days after spinning.

Teutonic Slaughter - Cheap Food 8/10
Funny thing how 'laughter' is only ever one little 's' away from 'slaughter'. No laughing matter here though as these boys absolutely do not fuck around when it comes to their belligerent Speed/Thrash. I'm sure that's the Polar Bear of Heavy Load's second album on the cover too. He gets around.

Iron Flame - World's To Conquer 8/10
I could never quite get with Hammerfall, the tunes were there but lacked any sort of gravitas and, well...it was all a bit twee ,mostly down to the irksome voice of Joachim Cans. Iron Flame address both these issues for me, very nice of them, and this new one is as good as any Trad. Metal I've heard this year, up there with the likes of Battleroar, Ravenspell and Triumpher.

Necrophobic - The Nocturnal Silence, unbelievable album.I can remember buying it on Cassette back in the mid 90s in my teens.I didn't rate it that much; what a fuckin idiot!

This put me in mood for something evil so stuck on the first two albums.   Great stuff

I need to give this one another go too, I bought it years ago and have maybe played it once or twice! I remember it being cool but definitely need a refresher!

Cocteau Twins- Head Over Heels. I dug out out for a revisit and quite enjoyed it this time around. I don't remember those big ignorant drum beats being there before. Are they programmed? They verge on industrial, but then the music in top is more like Kate Bush. Interesting stuff.
