The two EPs on one cd, masterful, misanthropic Black Metal.

Pure Wrath - Bleak Days Ahead 8/10
New on Debemur Morti this year, the fourth offering from this Indonesian one man project crosses Winterfylleth / Primordial styled sweeping Black Metal with more  adventurous elements like the occasional mellotron to create a fertile landscape indeed, yep, liking this one a lot.

One Of Nine - Dawn Of The Iron Shadow 7.5/10
Atmospheric Black Metal based on The Silmarillion mythos beautifully crafted and evocative of it's themes.

Aggressive Perfecter - Come Creeping Fiends 7/10
Half an hour of belligerent, hell- raising Heavy Metal from these Mancunian miscreants, out on Dying Victims natch. Puts me in mind of King Fowley's October 31 crew . With Cronos . For extra..eh...belligerence. Good shit 

Gutvoid - Liminal Shrines 7/10
Second one from the Canadians out on Profound Lore earlier this year, haven't picked up the first but this is Spacey Prog Death that comes off like a (slightly) less accomplished Obscura, not bad at all but I'm getting the impression that third time around might well be the charm for these boys.

Exodus - Goliath 4/10
Getting my rage on with the gang of super-heavy after it dropped on the doormat this week. Curse of the completists because this is the doormat of any future Exodus ranking.

I really enjoyed this album, just has such a good flow and so well put together.   I might give it an 8. 

Have that Aggressor Protector ordered as well.

As for my own listening I'm also on a bit of a thrash kick at the moment.
