Great news!

Great photos too

Cheers, up Moylussa, timed the sunrise wrong but got there just after it all the same.  Nice hike.  Done it countless times but never in this weather.  Was out once a week-ish there last year until the weather got bleak, usually here or Cratloe.  Might do an auld thread in the off topic at some point to share the few routes if there's any interest.

Good place to be stuck. Those four would do me all week on rotation.

Released the year after Sabbath's Dehumanizer and what a similarity between those two as RJD delivered an aptly titled doom laden album that must have bemused more than a few holy divers at the time.

Such a great, and overlooked, album. I'd have it in a top 10 of Dio's whole career

Same, the cd booklet however is a poxy effort.

Had to stick an order in for the Kontusion album, love it!

Had these four albums on repeat over the last few days.

Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk
Tokyo Blade - Time is the Fire
Manowar - Warriors of the World United (I did have to skip the Puccini and Elvis covers after the first listen).
Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith

Black Wings of Devastation - 'Olden' demo tape

Some fairly nasty stuff from the midlands

Love the flanger on the vocals  :abbath:
And the bells  8)

----------

Exire – 'Across Rivers Of Yore' tape

Another release from Fomorian Hate Records
More pastoral than hateful ;)

Great to see a label mix it up

----------

Everdead Wood demo tape

Black metal with some post-metal influences thrown in

Not really hitting me atm

Edit: I see it was recorded live at the Paranoid Pit, Fred Zeppelins, Cork in 2019

Thin Lizzy all day as Phil's 40 years gone.

Rotting Christ - Rituals
Rotting Christ - A Dead Poem
Quiet Riot - Metal Health
Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
Gallower - Vengeance & Wrath

Electric Wizard - Black Magic Rituals & Perversions Vol. 1

I haven't bothered with anything EW have released since Witchcult Today, but this live album recorded in 2020 captures their heavy, druggy sound perfectly.

Loss -Horizonless
Been ages since I listened to this. Savage.

Speedclaw - Beast in the Mist
Ravensire - A Stone Engraved in Red
Wolfsbane - All Hell's Breaking Loose
One of Nine - Dawn of the Iron Shadow
Serpent Rider - The Ichor of Chimaera
Rainbows Are Free - Silver & Gold
