Three albums for a jaunt up Moylussa about 6am.  Stuck a little speaker to my backpack so I could enjoy the hike without headphones.  Sun splitting the stones, crystal clear morning.  Top class.

Sounds like a class hike. I see this lad was up there for a very good cause - I don't suppose you saw and asked him to make an attempt at any of them though:

GOYA- In the Dawn of November. YouTube recommendation that is actually cool. Despite being of the more stoner variety of doom it's pretty dam cool. Great production and really powerful clean vocals that elevate it. I dig.

Iced Earth - Horror Show
Judas Priest - British Steel
Saxon - Crusader
Immortal - At The Heart of Winter

Venus Star "Smokeless Fire" . A most welcome return

Megadeth - Peace Sells... but Who's Buying?
Megadeth - So Far, So Good... So What!

Peace Sells is a classic, their second best album after RIP. There are some good tunes on SFSGSW but what the fuck were they thinking when they included the butchered version of Anarchy.

I've never listened to any of their albums after Youthanasia, but I'm going to dip the toes in today. Endgame and Dystopia seem to be well received so I will give them a spin.

Fu Manchu - No One Rides for Free
Lady Beast - The Inner Alchemist
Cathedral - Forest of Equilibrium
Devil Master - Ecstasies of Never Ending Light
Gorguts - Considered Dead

Skip Anarchy and I Ain't Superstitious, put the rest together and you've a class hour of music with those two. As for their albums, none is good after RIP. Some good tracks but the albums are all filler heavy.

Sodom - Tapping the Vein
Dark Forest - Oak, Ash & Thorn
Cannibal Corpse - Butchered at Birth
Dimmu Borgir - For All Tid
Primordial - To The Nameless Dead

Immolation-Atonement/Acts of God

Good man. I stuck with some classic thrash albums yesterday instead of venturing into unknown Megadeth -  Persistence of Time, and How Will I Laugh Tomorrow...'

Never heard The Mass before right now which will also shed some light on the question in the other topic. Other 2 are insane classics. Favourites by both bands.
