Sargeist-Let the Devil In. Absolutely spellbinding Finnish black metal. No sooner has one track ended than you start to think the next couldn't possibly be as good before your jaw hits the floor. A must listen. No idea what the rest of their discography is like but this has to be la creme de la creme.

Spectral Lore - Gnosis
Nomadic Rituals - Tides
Sargeist- Let the Devil In
Koldovstvo - Ni Tsarya Ni Boga
Folque - Folque
Korpiklaani - All those ridiculous drinking songs they have. They have their moments, and they have to be a huge influence on Alestorm.

Mgla - Age of Excuse

Anthrax - State of Euphoria

Midnight Odyssey - Shards of Silver Fade

Great atmospheric BM from Australia. Some proper spine tinglers in there

Two grindcore classics:

Insect Warfare: World Extermination  (2007)

Repulsion: Horrified  (1986/7?)

Judas Priest - Point of Entry

Have a soft spot for this album since hearing it in 86. This and Unleashed in the East were my first Priest albums.

Twas Arcane Sun in the car on the way to work this morning  8)

Cannibal corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated

Corpse get a lot of flak but the song writing and riffage in this album are fucking incredible. 2nd only to eaten for me.

That new Funeral Mist album is savage.
It's filling me with festive cheer today!!

Necros Christos- Triune Impurity Rites. This album will be fifteen years old next year!  ??? I haven't listened to it in ages but, fuck me, it's something else. I had almost forgotten just how much I love the songwriting. It's a masterpiece. That gig in The Pint stands alongside Tribulation as the best I saw in there. So utterly heavy.
