Twisted Tower Dire - Wars In The Unknown

Another good one from TTD (another dodgy cover)
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Nothing, because I broke my fucking headphones  :abbath:

'Discipline' has become my go to crimson record in recent years. Didn't appreciate it enough when I first go into them.

Picked it up on vinyl last week. So good.

Grave Miasma - Realm of Evoked Doom. Utterly ferocious, This Tomb is my Altar in particular. Lovely stuff. Raging I missed them at the Siege 5/6 years back

Haven't posted in here in a while but the last two weeks have basically been these on repeat:

Lingua Ignota - "Caligula"
Drabikowski's Batushka - "Панихида"
Conjurer - "Mire"
Big Brave - "A Gaze Among Them"
Foetus - "Love"
Swans - "To Be Kind"

...with the new Tool tune once or twice in between.

Deicide - The Stench of Redemption
Remember when Deicide could make records this good. ..?

Pretty much the whole Moonspell discography. Every now and then I get the notion of compiling, what I consider, a best-of. Sorely missing a CD player in the car, but at the same time it's probably better than skipping a fair bit of waffle on various CDs. It's only making the Moonspell compilation that I realise they actually have quite a bit of filler on most of their albums. However, when they get it right, they're pretty much untouchable. Would love to see 'em live again.

FALL OF SERAPHS

A great old school death metal band from France,
with a blackened/ brutal touch.

Picked up a lovely ltd edition repressing of Leviathan a few days ago, gave it two full listens today. I'll never get sick of this album!

Also:
Yes - Relayer
King Crimson - Discipline
Camel - Mirage

A full on prog week of glory!

Nice. Could listen to Mirage all day. That synth groove towards the end of Nimrodel is pure dirt.

Discipline is second only to the mighty Red.

Morbid Angel - Domination
Faith no more - Introduce yourself

Gonna have to dust off Discipline, it's been a while. It's perfect from start to finish. Nearly broke my fingers and brain learning to play Frame by Frame some years ago.

Funerbrarum- Exhumation of the ancient
Vastum-Hole Below

Abhor / Abysmal Grief - Split

Reign In Blood - Missa Pro Defuntis

Funereal Presence- Achatius
Burzum- Belus
Electric Wizard- We Live

Great to see some Crimson mentioned in here. Been spinning Lizard frequently. Great album. One of my favourite bands. Also been spinning a lot of Soft Machine.

Spun the new Opeth track 'Dignity' this morning. Not great at all. Shame as I thought the last track 'Hand in Heart' was decent enough.
