Never got too into the earlier Dinosaur Jr stuff.
But I really enjoy all the 90's albums. 'Green Mind' up to 'Hand It Over'.

Never got back into them after the reunion, either.
So going to dig into some of that now while working.

Yeah tbh they're a band I've only gotten into recently, I'd tried several times before but the vocals were a bit of an acquired taste, enjoying them now though.

Haven't gotten around to all of their stuff yet.

Caustic Wound - Death Posture
Never a big fan of out and out grind, but this old school death-y grind is right up my alley. Such a straightforward (in a good way) and confrontational recording, with actual catchy riffs.

Nile- Black seeds of vengeance 21 years old today,another favourite!

Don't really care about Testimony but Black Seeds is a masterpiece. Didn't get it 'til '01 but fuckin hell, still 20 years ago.

The new Hooded Menace is the business. Lots of old Paradise Lost reminiscences in there. The W.A.S.P. cover ,I was looking forward to but it doesn't really work for me, reminds me of SFU covering ACDC,   an iconic hard rock vocalist like Blackie pretty much owns a song and no Death Metal growl can compete with his feral attack.
Apart from that though, this is a seriously good Death Doom release from the Hoodies. Favourite track at the minute is ' Scattered Into Dark.'

It's funny how someone's brain might work......Testimony is something from my very early teens, while Black Seeds is something from a couple of years ago....
