Darkthrone - Sardonic Wrath

Spurred on by the praise on here I checked it out yesterday and have it on again now. Good stuff.

Haven't listened to it in a long time. I must root it out. I always associate that album with Angel Witch. I was visiting London around the time it was released and I was checking every record shop I came across to see if they had it in stock. I kept on seeing the Angel Witch picture disc in each shop I went into and I had never heard of them before, but the artwork was cool. Eventually I found a shop that had the Sardonic Wrath LP in stock and what else was there, only Angel Witch! Fuck it, it was only £8, worth taking a gamble... I remember putting it on for the first time and thinking this could go either way (there was mention of Def Leppard on the promo sticker  ) . That opening riff kicked in and that was it, completely hooked! Sardonic Wrath hardly got a look in.
