I'e happily put Turn Loose The Swans as their worst, utterly turgid, lifeless, dull album. The Angel And The Dark River is their best, indeed.

tlts never did anything for me; tatdr and lgots are both excellent, a line of deathless kings also great

Radiohead - A moon shaped pool. Didn't bother with this when it came out but a really strong release.

Al DiMeola, John McLaughlin and Paco DeLucia - "Friday Night in San Francisco"

Absolutely ridiculous display of talent.

Paco de Lucía, Cameron and Enrique Morente are the holy trinity to me. I'm lucky enough to have a few LP records by each (bought in Spain or given to me by my Spanish gf's relatives). A seriously good night in spinning those with a few drinks and a wee smoke. Blissful.....

And back on point, Godflesh - Selfless.

Another brilliant effort, though the stark nature of it makes for a fairly debilitating 78 minutes. Still worth it though.

Anyone who thinks Godflesh are anything short of exceptional, get to the end of this and see if your mind isn't changed

Lamented Souls- 'The Origins of Misery'. I just realised who I am put in mind of by these dudes- Dionysiaque! I'm really enjoying this compilation.

The Vision Bleak - The Unknown

Apart from a couple of dud tracks and some goofy vocals, this is quite good.

Therapy?: Infernal Love (Japanese edition)

Definitely the best version of it out there, all the David Holmes intros/intermissions (which are as intrusive and unlistenable as the intros on Necroticism) are cut out so it's just the songs.

I've liked Ministry for years, but only stuck to same 3/4 albums. Working through the entire (bar first) album discography gradually at the moment.

I really like those little bits in it. Great album either way.

The run of albums from Twitch to Animositisomina is something else. After that, there might be on sort of okay album made out of the rest of them, but the difference with no Paul Barker is stark.

My favourites are Filth Pig, The Land of Rape and Honey and The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste.

The Mind Is  a Terrible Thing To Taste, The Land Of Rape And Honey, Psalm 69, Animositisomina, Houses Of The Molé and a few songs off Rio Grande Blood are top notch, some of the early stuff too. After that, the drop is sheer. From The Last Sucker on, they're a joke, and I've never seen the fuss over Filth Pig or Dark Side Of The Spoon, dreary, poorly produced affairs both.

It took me a very long time to come around to Dark Side.. but now I love it. Filth Pig has been a favourite of mine for a long time though, I fucking love it. The only track I like off Houses.. is the opener and Rio Grande Blood showed promise but only around 3 tracks hold up.

Fully agree about from The Last Sucker onwards. Pure direction-less shite.
