Without a doubt one of the best albums from the 90's

I only know one album by them and it's not that one. I like the other one though so I must try this

Big fan of it myself. Problem is it makes me want to go out and raise hell like I'm 18 again  :-\

Autopsy - Severed Survival 9/10
Primitive Death Metal debut barfed out onto an increasingly technical and professional scene in 1989, still being lapped up today.

Dark Angel - Darkness Descends 9/10
Less than four weeks now from seeing this brutal thrash gem played out in full in Dublin, even I'm coming out of hiding for this.

Pyre - Where Obscurity Sways 7/10
Getting plenty of turntable time this year this one, nothing mad just good quality Death Metal from Russia very much in the vein of Asphyx.

Machine Head - The More Things Change 6/10
Follow up to the eponymous debut and the band were really getting their groove on (along with their Addidas gear), the big guns are out early, 'Ten Ton Hammer', 'Take My Scars', 'Down To None' , the back half is a bit meh to say the least.

Konkhra - The Sad Plight Of Lucifer 6/10
Mixed bag of styles on this new one from the Danes mixing up Swedeath, groove, latter day Morbid Angel but it's actually grown on me a bit since I initially picked it up and moved up from an average 5 to an ok it's a decent album 6.

Blood Monolith - The Calling Of Fire 5/10
New brutal Death Metal featuring the vocalist from Vastum out on Profound Lore, half an hour of ugly pummeling aggression that doesnt leave much of a resonance after its done, maybe a bruise or two.
