Aside from M-16 (which I thought was very average) I don't know anything after Tapping The Vein.  Is there anything essential I am missing out on?

I wouldn't say essential but the aforementioned is decent. 'Essential' ended with Sodom a long time ago.

Coďe Red for sure, it's one of my favourites of theirs.

Well that just sent me scurrying to the shelves and nope ,no Code Red, must get on that.

It's savage, the one that got me back into them after ignoring them for years. Nice fast stuff like the title track, nice groove-led stuff like Tombstone. The version I had came with a bonus disc which was a Sodom tribute album, don't think I have it anymore.

Well there's one on Amazon for 209e which I might swerve and just keep an eye on the distros

Must put Code Red on the Want's list and hope it is reissued sometime.

Sonata Arctica - Winterheart's Guild
Ahab - The Giant
Iron Maiden - Iron Maiden

Rush Discography since in and around Xmas

Mirar - Ascension

Released a couple of days ago and recommended by a friend. Possibly the first "thall" album I've ever listened to. Won't be for everyone! Its madness put me in the mood for even more madness, so then shifted to:

Jute Gyte - Laocoön
Jute Gyte - Perdurance

Battle Ram - Battle Ram
Iotunn - Kinship
Pagan Altar - Volume 1

Death:The Sound Of Perseverance
Gama Bomb: Untouchable Glory
Bedsore: Dreaming The Steiger For Love

Last few days in the car
Motorhead - Overkill
It's a 2 CD set with 'Another Perfect Day', it's also one of the first CDs I bought.  Made in 1988 and still going strong.
'(I Won't) Pay Your Price' is some song, has the windows nearly driven out in to the street

Opeth - The last will and testament.
Agalloch - The Mantle.
Entombed -Clandestine.
Pantera -Cowboys from Hell.
Satyricon -The age of Nero.
