Never really see these guys get much love, but it's a hot frantic mess of grind/death. Fun stuff, always come back to it. Mitch Harris's band before joining Napalm Death...

I tried them out a couple of decades ago, did nothing for me. Might give them another go.

Napalm Death - Death by Manipulation
Napalm Death - Fear, Emptiness, Despair
Burning Witch - Crippled Lucifer

Nile - Those Whom the Gods Detest

Watched an enjoyable making of on youtube yesterday. Cool enough album. Production is better than AOTW which is where I stopped. Will never touch the first 3.

Kerbdog first album. Always preferred On The Turn but this is not far off

Stopped with Ithyphalic meself, but gave Vile Nilotic Rites a whirl on a whim back when it came out and it's probably their best outside the first three.

At the Gate of Sethu is the only one that isn't up to the same standard as the rest. Black Seeds is one of the best DM albums ever released.

Agreed, ...Sethu was one that I had to keep going back to before coming to that very conclusion.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Bloodthorn - Genocide
Moonsorrow - Tulimyrsky EP (the cover of For Whom the Bell Tolls is pure shite, otherwise a decent EP).
Freeways - True Bearings
Darkthrone - It Beckons Us All
Boundless Chaos - Sinister Upheaval
Rotting Christ - Triarchy of the Lost Lovers

Godflesh - Streetcleaner
Tsar Bomba - Silent Queen
Negative Concept - Unwelcome
Tribulation - Children of the night
Lamb of God - Omens
Nine Inch Nails - Broken

Cryptic Hatred - Nocturnal Sickness. This is brilliant. Hadn't listened to them before this week. Finnish death metal.

Terminal Nation - Holocene Extinction.

Zetra - All the eps.

RIOT - Restless Breed (1982)

Agreed on both fronts. I remember hearing Chapter for Transforming into a Snake on one of those old Relapse samplers (Contaminated 3.0 I think - The Howling of the Jinn was on it too) and my jaw hitting the floor.

Judas Priest - Stained Class
Crowbar - Odd Fellows' Rest
Skyclad - The Wayward Sons of Mother Earth
Absu - In the Eyes of Ioldanach

Bulldozer- Neurodeliri. I put in an order for some Bulldozer earlier having seen the preorders go up at Hammerheart this morning. It was in my head all day. I have been meaning to do a proper investigation on these dudes for years- I actually had a picture of them from Metal Hammer on my wall as a teenager without ever hearing a note   blasting Neurodeliri here now and it's fucking whopper. Black thrash/ first wave black metal with prominent eerie Italian doom organs. So cool.

Bruce Dickinson - The Chemical Wedding
Sepultura - Quadra
Voivod - Synchro Anarchy
Bad Brains - Rock for Light
