KXM - Circle of Dolls

Three great albums out of three. Not bad at all for a part-time effort.

Napalm Death - From Enslavement to Obliteration

ND: impossible to overrate.

The latest Opeth... hoping it will click with me at any moment.

I have Profetus 'The Sadness of Time Passing' on YouTube here and it's actually very enjoyable.  With funeral doom I tend to find most of what I hear to be sterile,  bland and tedious but these guys seem to have the right mix of sombre introspection and epicness. The production is natural and warm. A bit of extra rawness/weirdness wouldn't go amiss,  perhaps, but it's still a good listen.

Augury - Illusive Golden Age, I see Dominic Lapointe is the bass player, I listen

Undergang-Misantropologi

Time for my annual binge on Blut Aus Nord and Deathspell Omega, such great bands. Also hit up some Arcturus this morning, still trying to slug away at lots of Herbie Hancock and Waylon Jennings as well.

Maze of Torment by Morbid Angel. Specifically the live at Wacken version with Erik Rutan on guitar.

Interesting use of organs instead of bass giving the whole thing a certain warmth but there are certain passages I can't help but imagine how soul crushing it could be with the more conventional set-up.
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

Kiss - Rock and Roll Over

I know this is terrible but it's still quite compelling.

They're a great band. You've reminded me to put some more time into them.

The Ocean - Heliocentric; it's not my buzz but I thought I'd give it a full sit down.

Sepultura - Chaos AD

It really tails off badly on side 2.
