I've now been entangled in some domestic drama over my recent vinyl purchases. I got a message request from some random guy saying "hey you have my records, will you sell them back to me, my ex has had them for 3 years" and the seller is like "sorry about that, they are absolutely not his records, just block him" so I don't know what the fuck to do  . I wouldn't have bothered if I knew I was going to be involved in this bullshit. The annoying part it's my own fault, I posted in a record collector group the same post as here as I thought I just had a regular sale, lesson learned..

The problem is theirs, not yours. Let them sort it out, you buy what you want.

That really does suck.  Hopefully they sort it out between them.  Keep a copy of all the conversations you have with the seller and if you paid her electronically make sure you keep a copy of that transaction.
