Yeah for sure, I'll be in Melbz sooner than later  :abbath:

VICIOUS RUMORS - Soldiers Of The Night

LP reissue.

Had a pretty insane haul today. A woman with a blank Facebook profile on market place was selling a load of crazy stuff for next to nothing, original Megadeth, Metallica, fates Warning, Obituary pressings for 20NZD which is about 10euro. She also sold the Atheist collection 3Lp box set for 20 dollars too?!

I was like that's too good to be true but being a chancer I messaged and asked if she had anything else and she just "just some old and obscure stuff" I was like music to my ears, and she sent me through some.of what she had. I ended up getting these 9 for about 70euro. All the 80s stuff is original first pressings and all records are VG+. Couldn't believe it when I seen the Witchfynde and Acid. I was actually on the way to the house thinking I was going to get my head kicked in in some FB scam   But she ended up being pretty cool and told me had sold her house so was having a clear out and she was selling all her uncles old records off.

When I was leaving she was like "you're easier than listing on FB so I'll message through with anything else I find 😎😎😎 Hopefully she finds some cool stuff. Sickened I wasn't in quicker for the stuff she had sold earlier.

You jammy git. I have had that daydream on many occasions  :abbath:

Great haul.  Always liked that Bitches Sin album!

That Avenger album is totally underrated too, shit title and album cover but it rips. The vocals are kind of Brian Ross-esque.

Thin Lizzy- Fighting LP (original)  8)

Metallica- Kill 'Em All LP. After pestering a neighbor of mine to record Appetite for Destruction for me when I was a young lad Kill 'Em All was the first original metal tape I got (along with Jailbreak and Blow Up Your Stereo... Video? Can never remember which) for my birthday. Metallica instantly knocked GNR off top spot. I was obsessed. Then in my teenage years when Metallica seemed passé I sold a lot of my collection to my friends, including a few Iron Maiden tapes too. Suffice to say I have kicked myself repeatedly for that in the intervening years. Nice to finally have this again,  and on vinyl no less, so I can get a really good look at the lads' acne in the band pic.

Various – A Black Mark Tribute Vol. II on CD
Haven't the CD player with me but there are some odd cover versions on this one.

Ordered the three Darkthrone albums I was missing on CD - Total Death, Plagueweilder and Goatlord (the first release with vocals).  Also picked up a CD version of their demos as well.

SunnO))) - Life Metal lp
SunnO))) - Kannon lp

I just opened up Drawing Down the Moon. So glad I decided to pick it up as it is a stunning edition. A single LP which is always good for a lazy cunt; really stunning finish on the gatefold with heavy duty card- think Through The Cervix of Hawaah for reference; a glossy full color inner gatefold image of NHV at his altar; a massive, extensive booklet with photos of various editions of the album throughout the years, heaps of photos I've never seen before and tons of interviews and articles to get stuck into. Absolutely worth forking out for if you hold this album in any kind of regard. Again, what a treat to witness these songs live in a room with incredible sound and a perfect atmosphere.

He won't sell that version to Europeans. It must have been part of the deal when he got the licence that Europeans are pushed to buy the Primitive Reaction version. I managed to get a copy this time last year when Hells got a few of them in. You can get a similar version of Oath which is also good and is available in Europe.

Not arsed with Oath so the PR version of that will do me for my once every five year revisit!

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, had the craziest find of my life today:

[/url]

First press of Metal massacre 1 in mint condition, still in original plastic for next to nothing. Released by metal blade in 1982. Brian Slagel told James if he could get a band together he could be on the comp so contains the first ever material Metallica ever recorded, a demo version of 'Hit the lights'. The band members listed are Dave mustaine and Lloyd Grant on guitar and Ron McGoveney credited on bass (Although I don't think he played on this version, I think James played the bass) and James as just the singer. On this pressing Metallica is spelled incorrectly as 'Mettallica' and it's unique as this recording of Hit the lights only exists on this first press as it was re-recorded for all following pressings.
Its a massive collectors item for Metallica collectors and was actually reissued for the 40th anniversary.

Same seller as the last NWOBHM stuff I got, she sent me a pile of the stuff left that she'd found, loads of random comps and this was in amongst them. I didn't really expect anything of value just thought it would be a cool thing to have, thinking it was going to be one of the reissues. Couldn't believe it when I turned it over and seen the spelling mistake. It goes for a fair bit more than what I paid on discogs to say the least, even though flipping isn't my intention.

The Godzone metal was another cool find, an old famous rare kiwi comp from 1983, only 200 exist and goes for quite a bit too.

Fuck, this shit is like crack.
