Haha why is that, recent output or just shite live? Or both?

Both. You might get King of a Stellar War and then total drivel. Granted, I don't like most of their stuff though.

Ah Yeah I'm not really interested in anything after Triarchy myself but beggars can't be choosers when you live in Auckland, you sort of have to take what you can get, it's rare bands make it to Australia and even more rare to come across to NZ. Suppose that comes with being the arse end of the world

I bought a couple of Burzum T-shirts from Plastichead there recently. Not sure how to feel about that.

I know how I feel about the €9.95 customs charge though. Cunts.

Yeah, I don't use Plastichead despite often getting drawn in to look at their ads just because of the sheer range of stuff, but there's something about their 'cover all bases in all genres' approach I never liked , the last update I saw had Venom and Green Day tees side by side. Some class Dio tees there at the minute I was eying up though. Should have just asked for them for Xmas and let the missus take the postage hit I suppose!
Wearing jeans and leather, not crackerjack clothes

I try to avoid ordering from the UK where possible. I resent the government slapping on high exise charges. The Crawling CDs for example. They were under a tenner and the boys slapped charges on them.

Anything from the North is exempt. You just need to ring them up and challenge it.
I've had to do it a couple of times.

The plastihead sale can have the odd great bargain.  Got a couple of Trouble hoodies earlier in the year for £13 each.

I couldn't find a number to ring that answered.

Picked up Monotheist by Celtic Frost in Tower today.

I thought that was a cracking comeback album, a shame they fell out again.

Monotheist for me is by far the best CF album. I really hope it gets a vinyl reissue soon I never got around to getting the original and the repress was sold out by the time I even knew it had been repressed.

I have seen Tom is doing Triptykon Shows with just CF material (no Monotheist stuff unfortunately) and also shows with just Hellhammer material. In some cases they do 3 nights in a row with a Triptykon set on the last night. No fear of any of those shows ever coming to Ireland but it would be great to see them and I am sure it would do good numbers.

Ever since those bullshit EU customs rules came into effect in July of 21 I think it was everything gets a charge they get rid of that 20euro allowance or whatever it was.

I got an order from Hells on Friday then on Monday a customs notice came through the door looking for money

Can't you just ignore it once you've gotten the stuff? I'd send them back an autographed picture of my arse.

Yeah that's why I was laughing because they won't be getting a cent from me.

Lads, if any of you have €7 to spare to you could do worse than buy Cork hardcore legends Ten Point Rule's 1999 EP (remastered) on Bandcamp in aid of Cork Penny Dinners' Xmas fund. 100% of sales go to the charity.

They were hoping to hit €1000 but that looks out of reach now. They're at around €600 which is no bad achievement.

I'm not involved with Ten Point Rule but the lads are sound heads trying to do something positive. And that EP still rips!
