Cock rock with shreds is a bit harsh. Not my cup of tea but no denying they were certainly more than that.

You're a cock.

Imagine lads on a music forum being so utterly fucking butt-hurt because you don't enjoy a particular band.

some arseholes on this thread alright,  probably heard jump and a couple hagar tunes.
1st album was the best debut album ever.
VH1, VH2, FAIR WARNING,  WOMEN AND CHILDREN FIRST all amazing.
A travesty that there's no proper 80s cleaned up live stuff officially released.

I've listened to the first two at length and they're boring as fuck.

Imagine being called an arsehole because you don't share the same opinions about a musician. I've no emotional attachment to EVH, so it makes no difference if he's alive or dead to discuss his music.

Great guitarist, shite band. Or not. Who fucking cares.

Timo Ketola died aged 45. Such a pity. His artwork has been an important part of death and black metal over the past 15 years or so. Happy to have worked with him on two Malthusian releases. He was hugely talented and a decent chap. RIP.

Damn, was just reading an article in an old ZT about his stuff recently. RIP

Just saw on FB. A genuine loss for the scene.

Fuck. Terrible news about Timo Ketola.

Actually no, it's too easy.

Damn. R. I. P. Timo. Seven Chalices will have to go on later.

What the fuck??? That's truly shocking news. Fucking leukemia. Devastated to hear this.

Probably should have his own thread when considering the amount of people he interacted with in Ireland the past 28 years.

Possibly the soundest, funniest guy I used to correspond with back in the old underground scene. Always fun getting phone calls from him when he was cleaning offices and taking advantage of free international calls! He did a cover for Silent Ireland zine issue 2 that I never got to finish.

I was on to him hoping to meet in Killtown last year but he couldn't make it. He was on about contacting Kearns for a copy of his old zine. I meant to send him a photocopy of Through Ireland's Eye but never got around to it...

Truly gutted to hear this  news :'(
