Ah shite. Been on a prog kick of late (due to talking Camel/Caravan with MaggotColony on the non-metal now listening thread), KC obviously featured a lot too.

D'Unbelievable Jon Kenny

No way? That sucks. He has cancer before. Did it come back?

Aye it did. He worked right up until two weeks ago om some play. I must have watched D'Telly about 50 times in college as a young lad. Fucking genius film.

Casey Chaos dead at 59.

I really liked the Scum album, and some Amen in my younger days.

So annoyed by this. For me, the best gig I was ever at was when Amen played Belfast in 2007.   Limelight was sparsely filled, very poor crowd .    But what a show.  Raw hatred, aggression and high octane energy.   Truly blown away.    Such pace in a rip roaring set.  And the sound and tightness of Casey and the band was sharp as hell too.    It's all subjective obviously , depending on one's own tastes , preferences and bias, but nothing has ever topped that gig for me. A seminal moment in my music attending life.     And the source of my corny af username here, from a week or so ago, no less!!

59 is no age. Hard living catch up with him I assume? I never got into his music but he was all over the metal mags at the turn of the century so I was very much aware of him back then.  RIP

Yeah he was big drinker and pill popper. Think I might look up the buddyhead gossip threads  about him on web archives as they were  hilarious.

54 btw

Never a fan of his stuff, but indeed no age to be going.

Apparently he was lying about his age quite a bit.  59 seems to be the legit one.

Amen were the backing band for Vanilla Ice's nu metal album🤣

Without knowing much about him;I was surprised to learn he was 59!.For some reason I would have had him down as 10 years younger.

That Scum album was the only thing I liked that he ever did. Tried to listen to it again earlier this year and it didn't age very well. Was never into Amen and did I not read somewhere that he fucked some people over in the band when it came to money? Not that it really matters now.

The second Amen album was alright despite the cunt, that Scum album was shite because of him. Both to feature in the sales section soon.
