None of it matters anyway since it was proven that technically the best possible way of listening to music was through a CD played in the early runs of Playstations that still had the aux out on them (before they moved to scart and some other proprietary connector).  I am not even joking there is a write up on it online.  I think I even posted it here before somewhere.  Anyway it makes no odds

My CD player is an old Sony bluray player using the optical line out or whatever its called to the amplifier. Its supposed to be better than RCAs but honestly as I'm an ould fella who spent a fair few decades in noisy work environments it doesn't matter a damn

On vinyl? They just did a run of the OG Countdown and Youthanasia mixes, I got mine from Sentinel Records. They also did RIP last year but that might be harder to find by now.
