Only ever took notice of Archspire last week or the week before when the new album dropped.
It's gotten a few spins already, and I must pick it up on vinyl...

Quote from: ochoill on April 16, 2026, 12:38:05 PMNew Genghis Tron single is lethal, thought there was a thread for them from before but nothing popped up on the search, not starting a thread for one song but it's great anyway:

Very like the last record.
Quite a lot going on there. Always heard the name, but never the music, now I'm intrigued...

I was at that show as well. I enjoyed all 3 bands actually and I think I've caught The Almighty 2 if not 3 times over the years.
There was a bit of a buzz for us for AIC because one of the lads had Facelift on import when it came out so we were used to those songs at least. I remember thinking Layne was really cool, and had some pipes...
The t-shirt I bought that night was the AIC one and I still have a photo of me getting off the bus home that night with it on...
As for Layne, what a wasted talent, such a shame... and indeed the Grunge scene lost quite a few young legends in through the years...

Hand in hand with her support for Israel.
Sharon Rachel Levy & Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon (Tommy Robinstein - Mossad cunt)...
Hopefully someone lands a grenade on both of them ☠️

Quote from: Mooncat on April 14, 2026, 03:55:47 PMSaw a nice woodpecker on a telegraph pole recently. They make some noise! But in a way it's very relaxing.
Very relaxing indeed, and yes, some noise...
A lot of them around here on the outskirts of the city...
Walking home this morning after dropping the wee one at the day care. Was on the phone changing tunes and a large brown dog crossed the road right in front of me. Nope, a Roe deer, strolled along and hopped a garden fence and started grazing on the lawn.
Phone in hand, made a nice quick video and it looked straight at me, which was great...

Christ!
Anyone remember that video callout Brush made to Sebastian Bach wanting him to front a reformed version of his Skid Row.
Please.... Please.... Please make it happen!

Finally got around to spending some serious alone time with Templeschlaf.
I honestly can't pick one tune out as the best... and that's meant in a good way, as they are all (as has been said already in the thread) flowing just nicely. Every tune blows you away on its own merit.
Gonna spend a lot more time with it, but it's yet another TROB classic. He's truly a genius.
Well done sir...
