Today's demonstrations aren't about secondary schools and were planned before the school demonstrations began, but organically things have evolved in a way that it makes sense for all movements to unite today.

jfc the EC using AIslop as "communication" too  :vomit:

For those interested, some things confirmed in last couple of days:

Video proof of riot police stepping aside to allow looters enter cityhall (Marseille, probably also Limoges which is the one that burnt down) and several stores. Mayor of Marseille obviously furious about this. In general, wherever looting was most likely to happen, there was no police presence.

Video proof from every major city of riot police instead focusing teargas, dispersal grenades, and crowd charging on the peaceful protest zones, often before the marching even began.

Video proof of undercover police launching bricks at fire engines and other targets (i.e. lad in hood launches projectile, then is essentially escort-walked back to safety by his uniformed mates).

Intelligence services received orders from government to find ways to blame the riots on Mélenchon's political party.

In short, the official state strategy from Macron's billionaire-serving government was to allow and also incite maximum chaos in order to discredit the movement and sabotage Mélenchon's rising popularity. And that same government, to any source in other countries trying to blame what's happening on migrants or the "extreme left", says a very warm "Merci beaucoup les pigeons !"

I've seen this framed as probably everything at this stage. There's probably about ten agendas at play and each one a theorists wet dream and also probably real to greater or lesser degrees as well. I only know enough now at this stage to know I know nothing about it beyond the original framing, ie educational reforms re spending so cheers for the update from the side of a lad living in the country

How are you finding the general level of support for the original cause, has that waned at all in light of the burning and looting?

Everything is a right tangle of shite isn't it

Eliminate framings as a function of them failing to explain established facts.

Wrong thread

"Al the world is a stage"

and Macron ain't running jack shit.

Stop voting, we're being played like kippers...

Macron is "aux ordres" of the French conservative billionaires whose interests he has helped massively increase over 10 years. Three of them also happen to own France's three most watched 24 hour TV news channels, and their "framing" of the events is uncannily identical to the bullshit "migrants and the radical left" schtick that the right wing trolls and pigeons are spouting online. Weird how that's happening more and more often around the world these days!

They want us all at each other's throats. Keeping our eye off the ball, them...
